Prophecy as Controversy

In both ancient times and today, the Goddess speaks to her children by the mouth of her prophets. In these days She speaks to them by the testimonies of Her Causal Spirits, who dwell in her true Prophets as they did in the days of yore. There was never a time when the Goddess instructed the people of Her Cause more earnestly than She instructs them now concerning Her causal will and the course that She would have them pursue, in order to bring about the two Triumphs of Her Most Holy Cause, which She is now establishing.

In these letters which I write, in the testimonies I bear, I am presenting to you that which the Goddess has presented to me. And I do not write one article in these papers expressing merely my own ideas, save that I make clear that I am speaking for myself alone, and not for heaven. These are what Goddess has opened before me in the vision of the heart - the precious rays of light shining from the throne.

All humanity is now involved in a great controversy between Navaletus and Pandal regarding the character of the Goddess, Her law, and Her sovereignty over the many universes. This conflict originated just outside of heaven when there was created a being Pandal, the adversary of Maratrea, which in spite of his immense evil and ugliness she willingly created for the sake of the great goodness and beauty which would thereby be purchased. He led into rebellion a portion of the spirits; these were the spirits vowed to the enmity. He introduced the hatred of good and beauty into this world when he led the vile Aram into immense wrongdoing. This immense wrongdoing resulted in the distortion of the image of the Goddess in humanity, the disordering of the created world, and its eventual devastation. Observed by the whole creation, this world became the arena of the universal conflict, out of which the Goddess of love will ultimately be vindicated. To assist Her people in this controversy, Maratrea sends the chief of her Causal Spirits, Navaletus, and the Spirits vowed faithful to Her Most Holy Cause, to guide, protect, and sustain them in the way of salvation.
